Not the classic Dansk Dansk ordbog
This is not the dictionary that I expected. I wanted to have a Danish dictionary on the level of the English dictionary "Oxford Advanced Learners", but I was wrong. Most word lookups will give you a bunch of synonyms, rather than a definition of what the word means. The problem is when you click on the synonym, it will lead you in a circle to other synonyms, with each one also lacks definition and etymology. Usage examples are almost non-existent. With an app this pricey, 15 USD, I would have expected more from Gyldendal. To sum up, this is more of an offline app for spell-checking of single words. I gave this app 2 stars because at least it was offline. If you want to have a dictionary that explains to you what each word means, look for a different app and save your money.
